Sunrise at San Jose del Cabo, Baja California, Mexico – 12-26-2008 Grand Mayan. This is the beach directly at the end of the swimming pool. Signs claim there are bad currents and dangerous waves. That may be true at certain times of the year, but it was not the case in December 2008. No undertow, no currents pulling us either direction, and the waves were no larger than 3-4 feet. The water temperature was 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Chilly when you got in, but you could body surf all day without a wetsuit and never need to leave the water. Perfect temperature.
